The ability to teach to AS and A2 levels is a requirement, with a commitment to the delivery of dual award Science at GCSE and BTEC Science first level certificate. A specialism in Chemistry would be preferable. Applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers welcomed
The faculty is superbly resourced with state of the laboratories and employs a large team of technicians.

Required for September 2008:
A dynamic manager with excellent teaching skills to lead the Music department and a peripatetic teaching team. Familiarity with recent developments in Music Technology would be an advantage but is not essential.
We are looking for someone with vision and energy, capable of inspiring groups of students of all musical abilities and teaching across the age range to ‘A' level.
The department has a strong tradition of extra-curricular music, with a wide range of orchestras, choirs, bands and ensembles, containing talented musicians. The department is well equipped and the school has excellent facilities for the performing arts.
Alsager School is a very successful 11-18 comprehensive, in semi-rural South Cheshire. GCSE results are well above average (75% 5+ A*-C in 2007.) A level results are always good with the majority of students going on to H.E.
